Community Garden Projects

Did you know we plant and maintain 3 beautiful gardens in the Beaver area?

  1. Garden @ College Avenue United Methodist Church in downtown Beaver.

  2. Butterfly Garden @ Two Mile Run Park in Brighton Twp.

  3. Cathy Holby Memorial Garden across from Beaver Library on River Road, Beaver.

Garden @ College Avenue United Methodist Church

We cultivate and maintain the Tusca-Ridge garden located at the United Methodist Church on College Avenue in downtown Beaver, adding landscape modifications as needed.

Butterfly Garden @ Two Mile Run Park

Each year we enjoy cultivating and beautifying the Tusca-Ridge Butterfly Garden at Two Mile Run Park in Brighton Township. Material costs are shared with the Township.

Cathy Holby Memorial Garden @ Beaver Library

We planted a Memorial Garden to honor our last charter-member, Cathy Holby, who passed away in 2019. Located on River Road by the Beaver Library, our members maintain the garden and added a memorial, seating area, and reading area. Their children also want her memory to live on and donate money each year to help maintain this garden.
